My little Skater

Thursday night Ricky took Marvin to his school skate party at Pattison West. Ricky insisted on taking Hyrum.. I didn't want to go, I wanted to go to the gym instead. I told Ricky that I didn't want him to put Hyrum in a pair of skates...

ok so I'm a little over protective at times.. I was explaining how I felt about what would happen to Hyrum if he fell and hit his head and all kinds of things.. I've been skating and rollerblading and no how it feels to fall down.. am I a woos? oh well.

The boys had been gone and skating for about 45min already and I was going to the gym when I got a phone call from Ricky telling me we had a little skater on our hands... I drove home, grabbed the camera and zoomed to the skating rink.

When I got there I saw the most handsome little boy with a cute pair of big boy skates on his feet.! I pulled out the camera and started trying to snap pictures.. he wouldn't stay still long enough for me to get any.. but i did get a video!!

Hyrum didn't want to stop to take a picture for mommy..

Here he is skating and Dancing to the music.. maybe he will be a figure skater and go to the Olympics! :)

Experience Music Project

Every FIRST Thursday of the month, EMP, Museum of Flight and Seattle Art Museum are FREE starting at 5pm. This month we went to EMP (Experience Music Porject) and we brought along Marvin and Ktrina.

I believe it is safe to say that we all had a blast. At EMP they have a section where you can go into rooms alone or with your group or friend an play instruments together; drums, keyboard and guitar.

The last thing we did was go into a room and play drums/guitars for 10min. I was able to show off my drumming skills and Katrina showed off her guitar skills. Oh, i forgot to mention that HYRUM showed off his drumming skills as well. It looks like he is going to follow in mommys foot steps...?

wall of guitars.. it's a lot 'cooler' in person.

This is our buddy Marvin. He has adopted Ricky and I and his 2nd parents. He hangs out with a lot, even if we are just watching TV or playing wii. He's a great kid.

Hyrum was finishing up his dinner.

this is a guitar i thought was cool... dont remember the name of it.

2yr Wedding Anniversary

For our 2yr wedding anniversary Ricky took me to Leavenworth. I've never been and have heard fun things about it and wanted to see what it was all about.. Well, there wasn't much going on.. We got there around 4pm checked into our room then walked around the whole town that evening and had dinner at a really good restraunt all by about 7:30pm..

We decided to go out to Wenatchee and do a little shopping because we didn't want to go to our room yet. Wenatchee is definitly a LOT bigger than leavenworth. Monday morning we got up and ready and went up into the mountains, then once we got back to town we got some Gelatto.

This was my first time having gelatto and it was really yummy! I think i like it better than icecream.!

Here are a few pictures of our little trip.

flavors were lemon, mixed berry, and blood orange. YUM!

This is a bavarian pretzel. It was good, but Ricky and I both agreed that we like the 'american salty' baked pretzels better.

Hyrum Meets the Chipmunks!

Today I put on the Chipmunk movie while cleaning the house and doing other things. I had no idea Hyrum would LOVE it as much as he did! I just had to take a video clip of him laughing at the movie.

I haven't heard him laugh this hard pretty much ever.. I rewinded the same scene twice and got the same reaction every time!

He almost sounds like he is crying, but I can assure you he is laughing at the Chipmunks.

Meeting Santa

Hyrum met Santa for the very first time this year... As you can see, it didn't go over too well.!!
He was terrified of him. But crying pictures are still cute and fun to look at!

After Mo Simon took a round of pictures, we waited around for about an hour for him to calm down. After Jake and Ava got there we decided to try and see if he would be better at it if he has his buddy Jake sitting next to him..

Needless to say.... It didn't work! :)
