We tend to make our plans last minute. It's 12:30pm on Friday the 6th I don't know what we will be doing to 'celebrate' other than the fact that we will wake up and go to church.
While my mom was here a couple weeks ago, she bought Hyrum the new movie 'Hop.'
He loves it. I can't count how many times that it has been played in our home since the day it was purchased.
This will be the first Easter that Hyrum actualy realizes what is going on, though he only understands the whole Easter Bunny and eggs part of it.
Not it's true meaning, yet.
All week Hyrum has been walking around the house telling me "mom mom, the Easter Bunny is going to bring me a chocolate bunny and a Star Wars candy."
My thoughts.... "Oh really?"
I remember my siblings and I always being excited for our Easter baskets, and the egg hunt. Because of Hop, Hyrum understands all of this part of Easter, and it's fun for kiddos, so looks like I need to get busy and plan and get something put together!
We will have sunshine on and off during the day Sunday with only the slightest chance of tiny scattered showers. So, looks like I should get some eggs together for Hyrum to hunt.
We went to the SuperMall this week and the Easter Bunny was there. Hyurm kept asking him "where are yours eggs?" but sadly... the Easter Bunny doesn't speek. He only shrugs his shoulders and gives high-fives and hugs.
Hyrum still wants to know where his eggs were.
I suppose I need to go hunt down a Star Wars candy and a chocolate Easter Bunny..
