Come out Already!

Sunday night Jessica, Ryan and (Sprout) came over for dinner and a game. Before putting Hyrum in bed for the night he decided to teach a class on how to get sprout to come out of Jessicas shirt.

First, he examined the situation.

Second, he sat on sprout to make him feel cramped and uncomfortable to make him WANT to get out of there in a hurry.

Third.., when that failed, he decided to try and coach him out. "Swim towared the tunnel and head for the light.!!"

All of the coaching exhausted him, so he gave up and went to bed..

Our First Tree

This weekend we went and cut down our very first family Christmas tree. I've never gone to pick out a real tree before, and have never cut one down before either.

It was fun, but VERY COLD. by the time we found the tree we wanted my hands wer numb. Hyrums little nose was red but he didn't seem to be bothered by the cold. He was having to much fun finding rocks.

this one was going to be posted as "possible tree" but after looking around and the other trees close by I decided that this is THE TREE. plus I didn't want to look at ever tree on the farm, I was freezing and ready to go.

yes.. my macho man of a husband decided to carry Hyrum AND the tree.

New Toy

A few weeks ago we were cleaning things out, putting things in storage and throwing things away and or taking it to the DI. One of the things we were going to get rid of is this baby bathtub.

I'm not a fan of them, I prefer to lay them in the tub on one of those sponges. Any way, this bathtub has become one of Hyrums new favorite things to play with.. He brings his toys close by and climbs in, chills in it and plays with his toys.

Stage Fright? Nope.!

Last Friday we went to C&P to watch/listen to a friends band that plays out in West Seattle. We have gone to see them play a few times. It's fun and something diffrent to do on the weekends. Hyrum loves dancing and singing along with them. When I say Hyrum loves music, I seriously mean HE LOVES MUSIC!

You can bust a beat and he will immediatly start bobbing his head, stomping his feet and humming or singing along with you. During the bands break Hyrum went up on stage and made himself comfy with the drum set. Here is a small clip. Check out his awesome rythm on the syspended cymbol.! I'm pretty sure Hyrum will be a famous musician/dancer/rocker one of these days.

Deception Pass

On our way back to get Hyrum and go home from my state exam, we took a diffrent rout home. We took Deception pass, over the Whidbey Island, then took the Ferry to Port Townsend, then drove down into Gig Harbor.

It was a very pretty drive, I loved it, but I was afraid it was taking way to long for us to get back to pick up Hyrum.. Not that I was afriad or worried about him, because I know he was in the best care with Heather, Charles and Abigail.. but I was afraid he was going to drive them crazy.. haha. Of all things to worry about, I was afraid he was going to give them a run for their money or keep them awak all night. but everything turned ou well.

If this were a trip with no time limits I would have taken more pics and made more stops. I'm not the best photographer in the world, and wish I could have captured the beauty. But these will have to do for now until we go back that way.

This is Deception Pass. Before this bridge was put up, you would have to try and cross the water by boat, or drive a couple of hours around to the Ferry to get to the Island.

These waters are part of the Puget Sound. You can not swim in the water at this point, or boat in the area in Deception Pass because it is very dangerous. The water doesn't flow straight, it flows in a hundred diffrent swirls. I have video of the water flow at the bottom of this blog.

This pictures are taken from down at Deception Pass park. You can do camping and things here. It's a really big park, and extremely pretty. This is the beach area of the park.

I dont remember which Islands these are..

This is not the best picture of us at all... We had been up since 4:30am and I had just finished my state exams.. so, i didn't bother to even try and 'fix' my hair..

'where is the end.'?
