Fun in Seattle, Bellevue, Oh, and Woodinville.
This weekend we went out to Woodinville, WA to pick up one of Rickys old friends Scott that he hasn't seen since he got home from his mission and went to Seattle to eat at the Spaghetti Factory for lunch. After lunch we drove through Pike Place Market, then went to the Seattle Center, where the Needle is, along with other museums, parks, amusment rides and games are. We walked around down there for a bit, played a game, stopped by and watched a little bit of the National Yo-Yo league competitors compete, which was pretty cool. When we got tired of watching kids Yo-Yo to music, we walked over to Seattle Fudge in the food market to pick up some fudge for my mother, and ended up riding on the land slug and takinig pictures. Once we finished with that we headed to Bellevue and went to Desseret Book by the Seattle Temple to grab a copy of the Childrens Book of Mormon with the illistrations and simplifications, but they didnt have the one in that we wanted and ended up buying the new day Johnny Lingo movie. After that we headed back to Woodinville to drop of Scott and visit for a minute, then headed home so Rick could take a nap before his late job, and I ran to Borders book store to grab a new book.. I've been on a reading kick lately and have just completed reading 3books Friday night... so, I needed a new book and we had a 40% off coupon for being Borderes Rewards members, and I took advantage of it. Our weekend has been pretty good, hopefully tomorrow will be a bit relaxing after we get home from ward confrence.

Baby Feet
Hyrum has found his feet.! You can't get his diaper on without having to pry his fingers off of his toes. and when he is on the ground to play, he has a foot in one hand and his toy in the other. He hasn't got to the point of eating his feet just yet, but when that time comes i will makre sure to take pictures.! But here are pictures of baby feet for now for all of you lovers of baby feet and toes.

Getting Around
Hyrum over the last few weeks has finally started to like being on his tummy (but not for too long.) He is rolling over, and has started scooting around the floor, typically in a circle.. Before we know it he will be crawling all over the place.!! He's growing so fast.. Any way, here are some pictures of todays tummy time, and a little video. p.s. he is quite the drooler..

I stole this Blog Post
So, It's been a little while since I last posted a blog. Ricky and I have celebrated our one year anniversary, along with Valentines in a weeks time. We are also currently in the process of reorganizing our place, getting rid of things, throwing things away and finding new places for everything. So, we have been busy doing that, and taking care of, playing with, and spending time with our awesome son Hyrum, who by the way is growing SO fast. He isn't crawling yet but has been rolling all around the floor, he actually enjoys his tummy time now and no longer screams his head of when he is placed on his tummy. He has graduated from baby Rice Cereal, the the baby single grain Oatmeal and boy does he love his Oatmeal! over the next couple of weeks we will be starting veggies.! Any who, now that I have given a quick update, the message that follows is something that I stole from my friend Alishia and her Husbands blog page.
Elder Holland gave a talk at a BYU Devotional about a month ago. The talk is titled
"Remember Lot's Wife" and can be found on speeches.byu.edu. I am going to post the quotes underneath that I am pulling from Alisha's blog. They are good. Enjoy.
"There is something in us, at least in too many of us, that particularly fails to forgive and forget earlier mistakes in life—either mistakes we ourselves have made or the mistakes of others. That is not good. It is not Christian. It stands in terrible opposition to the grandeur and majesty of the Atonement of Christ. To be tied to earlier mistakes—our own or other people’s—is the worst kind of wallowing in the past from which we are called to cease and desist."
"When something is over and done with, when it has been repented of as fully as it can be repented of, when life has moved on as it should and a lot of other wonderfully good things have happened since then, it is not right to go back and open up some ancient wound that the Son of God Himself died trying to heal."
"Dismiss the destructive and keep dismissing it until the beauty of the Atonement of Christ has revealed to you your bright future and the bright future of your family and your friends and your neighbors. God doesn’t care nearly as much about where you have been as He does about where you are and, with His help, where you are willing to go."
"Faith is for the future. Faith builds on the past but never longs to stay there. Faith trusts that God has great things in store for each of us and that Christ truly is the 'high priest of good things to come.'"
"Live to see the miracles of repentance and forgiveness, of trust and divine love that will transform your life today, tomorrow, and forever. That is a New Year’s resolution I ask you to keep..."
